My role teaching as an adjunct English as a Second Language teacher has begun--it is exciting to see that I am helping international people through using my thinking and writing skills! Also, I have increased the amount of freelance work I do through a company called oDesk. Now, I have full time work, and I am grateful to God for that.

Having completed my Master's, I am now working on a copyediting project, looking forward to teaching ESL part time at the University of Cincinnati in the fall, and searching for additional work in writing, editing, or sales.

As of Feb. 1st, I will, DV, be applied to five programs and hearing back!

The time has come! Fall has unofficially begun and brought with it the time to apply to PhD. with creative dissertation programs (any suggestions about programs, the application process, or how to maintain your composure when you just can't find doctoral program love are welcome).

In terms of songwriting, I am at the rehearsal and recording stage of the album that occupied part of this summer. I rejoice that it has reached the "so close I can taste it" phase, and when I can, I plan to update you folks about how to hear it.

Well, summer arrived, and I hope to finish a songwriting project, read the English Literary Canon (GRE subject test!), and prepare for academics in the fall.
